A decade or two ago, tea vendors at railway stations and roadside bus stops used earthen tea cups. Those were the days of biodegradability – we can still remember the flavour of hot tea mixed with that special flavour of earthenware. Earthen tea cups are still used by a few chaiwalas specially in rural Bengal. But who make the teacups ? How are they made ? What is the life of the teacup makers ? Want photos like these?
